"I Live By The Sea" Photo Competition

About the Competition

The "I Live by the Sea" International Youth Contest is a Polish project aiming to spread knowledge about marine environments and marine protection.

Participants must be 18 or under and must send one photograph with a short text related to the photo. Both the photo and text must reflect on marine issues, either global or local. Examples of themes include:

- Biodiversity and invasive species

- Marine protection, do we need it?

- How to behave on the beach

- Overfished seas and oceans

- Melting Arctic glaciers, what is the fate of Polar bears?

- My friend the dolphin

This Contest is organized by Today We Have in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Poland to the UN, Ocean Sanctuary Alliance, Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Sciences (www.iopan.gda.pl), Sopot Science Association. The winners will be awarded by having their work exhibited at the United Nations headquarters along with receiving a participation diploma. Find out more information at: www.todaywehave.com or enter using the forms below.
