Transient Digitizer
Licel's transient recorders are powerful data acquisition
systems, especially designed for remote sensing applications.
To meet the demanding requirements of optical signal
detection, a new concept was developed to reach the
best dynamic range together with high temporal resolution
at fast signal repetition rates. For the first time
analog detection of the photomultiplier current and
single photon counting is combined in one acquisition
system.
Photomultiplier modules
In
order to fit the special needs of the Lidar-community
Licel developed a new photomultiplier module based on
a Hamamatsu Mini-PMT. Licel uses preselected tubes (photon
counting) to deliver a valid analog and photon counting
signal to the transient digitizer.
Si-Avalanche Photodiode Module
Licel's APD module combines a Si-Avalanche Photodiode,
TE cooler, temperature controller, preamplifier and
XYZ positioner in a single compact module. An external
HV supply is included.
