New Installation at France (December 2007)
A new powerful eye-safe lidar system with scanning capabilities (LB11-U-D400) manufactured and installed at Observatoire De Physique Du Globe De Clermont, Clermont-Ferrand, France. In collaboration with Gordien -Strato Raymetrics designed and manufactured and installed a unique Lidar system with exceptional characteristics. Equipped with a powerful telescope (400mm) and laser source, exhibits a very extensive effective measurements range. With appropriate expansion of the emitted laser beam system is eye-safe even at near field. Although system detects two channels (backscatter and depolarization signal) at the moment, it is easily upgraded to detect up to two addition Raman Channels.
