Backscatter LIDARs
MORELB Series Backscatter LIDARs
Raymetrics LB Series Backscatter LIDARs are suitable for a variety of applications, including detecting clouds, dust layers, the planetary boundary layer. More advanced models can also be used for aerosol type discrimination (dust, anthropogenic).
For product information please select either a Vertical LIDAR (which provides profiles in a single direction only), or 3D Scanning LIDAR (which provides data in 3D) from the navigation menu.

Raman LIDARs
MORELR Series Raman LIDARs
Raymetrics LR Series Raman LIDARs are useful for aerosol type determination (dust, maritime, fire smoke, urban haze), water vapour profiling, temperature profiling, and detecting aerosol microphysical properties (volume and surface concentrations, refractive index).

DIAL LIDARs
MOREDIAL stands for Differential Absorption LIDAR. The DIAL technique utilises multiple emission and detection channels, comparing the results of a wavelength of light which is strongly absorbed by target particles with a wavelength which is weakly absorbed. Through this comparison, concentrations of target gases can be measured, with extremely high sensitivity (a few parts per billion).

Micropulse LIDARs
MORERaymetrics is now able to offer its vertical and 3D scanning LIDARs as Micropulse LIDAR Systems (MPLs). MPLs are most often useful where mobility and autonomy are more important than power, range and other features such as Raman detection.

Custom LIDARs / Telescopes
MORERaymetrics offers modular design as standard, meaning an extremely large number of options are available for customising any of our basic range of LIDARs. Options include altering the size of the telescope, the power of the laser, the deployment arrangement and the number and type of detection channels.
We also specialise in providing more complex fully customised LIDAR designs, as well as offering parts and accessories for LIDARs such as custom-built telecopes. Click on a link for more information on custom designed products and accessories.
Headlines
A short video of one of our LIDARs being used in Santiago, Chile has just been released.
In December 2011 Raymetrics delivered the first Fog Detection system to Meteo France, for use at Charles de Gaulle airport.
Raymetrics is extremely proud to announce the launch of its Volcanic Ash Detector, available from January 2012.
January 2012 has seen the development of this all new website for Raymetrics S.A.
Partnerships
Through partnerships Raymetrics is able to augment its products with several other types of atmospheric LIDARs. These include wind doppler LIDARs for both the troposphere and stratosphere.
Raymetrics is also a distributor of OWIS Optical Beam Handling Systems and Positioning Systems.
